AniJam is an anime/jpop cover band based in Sydney. We enjoy playing a wide variety of music from japanese culture, including many anime OPs/EDs, Jpop and Vocaloid hits. As an ensemble with semi-professional musicians, we bonded over Japanese music, and are trying to push the limits of japanese music cover bands in Sydney and bring an awesome interactive live music experience to any stage we play on. Expect a lot of energy and good vibes as we bring you everything from hard hitting anime rock OPs to funky chill j-pop classics. AniJam originated from members of the University of Sydney Jamming Society who had a mutual love for japanese and anime music. After our formation and first successful performance at SMASH 2022, we’ve expanded our roster of musicians and diversified our selection of music, playing at many community anime events and doing recordings for online personalities. Our band’s main lineup currently consists of a vocalist, 2 electric guitars, keyboard, bass and drums. We like playing a wide variety of genres and styles of music and love bringing energy and fun to stages across Sydney.
